I just ordered a set of Willie and Max standard slant (not compact) saddlebags for my Savage. (sorry, Knud, and thanks for your help, but the folks at Helimot never returned my phone call about the Helds.) Hope they fit. I'll let you know. I also ordered a Tour Master 2-piece rain suit.
After hearing that a Savage is good for 57,000 miles (or more), I,'m getting serious about taking her traveling. Ride safe.
